MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

We are a niche, highly successful, diversity & inclusion training company.  We’re based just outside London in leafy Hertfordshire, but operate across Europe, America, and Asia.

We’re looking for someone who can bring considerable B2B marketing experience and know-how to devise, execute and analyse a global marketing strategy and resulting campaigns.  We’re not expecting you to achieve our growth ambitions all on your own – in fact you’ll be joining a close-knit team of lead generators, Interactive animators, account managers and a marketing manager. With their support and insight you’ll both develop realistic marketing objectives and deliver against them with whatever marketing techniques you think will work most effectively.

With great leadership skills, you’ll be a strong communicator that can work confidently under pressure.  You’ll have bags of experience in a similar B2B environment from which to draw, and ideally, you’ll be no stranger to working across a range of markets and countries.

Reporting to the CEO, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced marketer to join a fast-growing, innovative company who are going through an exciting period of expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the global marketing vision and strategy, with clear ROI, that’s reviewed quarterly
  • Drive new product launches and lead generation campaigns with product marketing and sales
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between lead generation, sales and product support across all regions
  • Research industry trends and competitive environments and reflect that knowledge in our marketing communications plan
  • Lead all marketing projects, such as website updates, recruitment campaigns, sponsorships or awards entries
  • Work with lead generators to help direct and triage the assignment of incoming business leads to the operational business.
  • Build relationships with relevant industry players and associations that help to reinforce our market visibility and position

Skills and Experience

  • Significant experience of developing and delivering B2B marketing, globally
  • Proven record of supporting business performance through creating effective marketing strategies
  • Demonstrable experience across the full Marketing mix
  • Demonstrable writing skills and capable of creating engaging content
  • Experience of creating and managing a successful website and social media campaigns
  • Skilled in measuring marketing effectiveness
  • Collaborative team-based approach, working well with others
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, communication and presentation skills, with an ability to prioritise, plan and execute at pace
  • Hands on experience of email marketing packages (we currently use HootSuite)
  • A professional marketing qualification and degree relevant to this role or equivalent experience

Desirable Requirements:

  • Prior experience of working within training or consultancy
  • Relevant Salesforce (or other top-flight CRM) experience
  • An eye for design
  • Relevant influential industry, PR and journalist contacts

Work Setting:

  • The role is home-based. Regular travel into our office in Ware, Herts. will be required.
