Women's leadership

Organisations with a balanced representation of women and men in senior management report increased engagement & retention, better decision making, improved problem solving and greater creativity & innovation. This in turn leads to enhanced results and competitive advantage. For many organisations, development of the female talent pipeline is a key strategic priority.

Manage your personal brand and increase your visibility

People who fail to display ‘obvious’ traits of credibility and impact may fail to progress, regardless of their competence or talent. A common challenge, particularly amongst junior levels in the workforce, is how to demonstrate credibility and make a greater impact on others. This module tackles clarity about personal brand and how to self-promote with integrity; it explores the verbal and non-verbal aspects of impact on others and helps participants deploy subtle strategies and tactics that make a positive difference to how they are viewed by others.

    We will cover:

    • How to self-promote with integrity, including being visible and living your personal brand
    • Assertive / aggressive / passive – how to moderate and choose the most appropriate approach
    • Non-verbal ways of demonstrating credibility and approachability
    • Power poses
    • The language of influence

Action planning will focus on practical steps to increase personal impact and influence.
