Women’s Leadership

Diverse, inclusive senior management leads to increased retention, better decision making and greater creativity.

Women's leadership

Organisations with a balanced representation of women and men in senior management report increased engagement & retention, better decision making, improved problem solving and greater creativity & innovation. This in turn leads to enhanced results and competitive advantage. For many organisations, development of the female talent pipeline is a key strategic priority.

Targeted development of female leaders & future leaders can be an important component to help your talented women progress. Businesses that have implemented our programmes cite an increased ability to attract female talent, as well as better rates of promotion amongst women.

How to play the game for win-win outcomes

Office politics and ‘power games’ are believed by some to be manipulative and damaging. It’s not unusual for women to refuse to engage, and as a result they remove themselves from the table, diminishing their influence. This module reframes politics and power to explore why they are an important part of how business outcomes are influenced.  Participants learn how to engage in a progressive way that generates win-win outcomes – for themselves and the organisation.

    We will cover:

    • Unwritten rules where you work – what are they and how do you want to respond?
    • Reframing office politics to achieve win-win
    • Bases of power – understanding organisational power preferences and how to influence from different power perspectives
    • How to build organisational savvy

Action planning focuses on how participants can engage to achieve effective win-win outcomes.
