MARKETING AND SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR – (6months FTC – 3 days a week)
PDT Global is a niche, highly successful, diversity & inclusion training company operating across Europe, North America and Asia.
We are currently on the lookout for a creative Marketing and Social Media Coordinator who prides themselves on being ‘one step ahead of the game’ when it comes to social trends, online influence and imaginative innovation.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing our global social media strategy and powering the engagement and growth of our social media communities. The role may be home based but will require minimum one day a week working in our offices in Ware, Herts.
Reporting directly to the Head of Global Marketing, you’ll have a passion for all things digital and will be tasked primarily with the growth and nurture of our online presence through our digital and social media channels. From assisting with the management of our website, to promoting our brand via engagement on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, you’ll play an important role in the team, contributing to key marketing projects and demonstrating our thought leadership capabilities to have a real impact on the landscape of D&I training globally.
*Develop a social media strategy for all of the PDT Global’s social channels to grow the community, increase engagement and develop brand presence online.
*Put together a content calendar, including creation of all assets including copy and any additional requirements in collaboration with the wider team.
*Keep up with competitor analysis on social media, monitor and report ongoing and future social campaigns.
*Activating social listening tools to identify key trends
*Ensure the brand is presented accurately across all social media and digital platforms.
*Support the Head of Marketing in website development, design and content updates.
*Support the Head of Marketing in the production of marketing material production from design, publication to promotion.
*Update and develop the image and video catalogue.
*Design flyers, brochures or other marketing material as necessary (InDesign and Photoshop etc).
*Other ad-hoc tasks.
*Previous experience in a similar marketing role.
*Ability to analyse the performance and suggest improvements of social media marketing campaigns.
*Experience in owning and increasing brand presence online through social media.
*Excellent organisational and time management skills.
*An eye for visuals and experience using Adobe Creative suite (InDesign and Photoshop)
* Excellent communications and copywriting skills
*Creative individual with a great eye for design
